Laboratory Owner / Cryogenic Engineer

Role overview

As a laboratory owner at SemiQon, you will be a crucial part of our mission to redefine the capabilities of quantum computing. You will work closely with our hardware experts and collaborate with a diverse team of researchers, engineers, and specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Maintenance and development of cryogenic setups: You are responsible for three cryogenic setups and their development.
• Measurement equipment: You are responsible for low-level software implementation for the laboratory equipment.

Qualifications

Must have

• Expertise in cryogenic systems: You understand thermal transport at cryogenic temperatures and can independently develop cryogenic DC and RF-measurement assemblies.
• Solid understanding of standard measurement techniques: You are an expert in electrical measurements and especially understand low-noise cryogenic setups.
• Good fine mechanical skills: You excel in precision requiring tasks and have good eyes for fine details.
• Programming expertise: You can do simple programs using Python and have a basic understanding
• Proficiency in English

• Experience from industrial operation

Salary range: 3500 – 6000 € per month depending on experience

*A security clearance vetting may be required for the position.
