What happens after I apply?
We keep things transparent and move as quickly as we can. Here's what the process typically looks like:
1. Application review
Our talent team reviews your application.
2. Introductory call
A short conversation with our talent team. We'll introduce SemiQon and the role and get to know you a little better.
3. Interviews
One or more sessions with the hiring team. Depending on the role, these may include a case assignment or a deeper discussion of your expertise.
4. Background and reference check
We carry out a background check (security vetting) and reach out to your references.
5. The good news call
If everything lines up, we'll be in touch to discuss compensation, benefits, your start date, and any relocation needs.
What if I don't see a position that fits me?

Do you work on-site, hybrid, or remote?
It depends on the role. Many of our positions are on-site, and we value the time we spend together as a team. That said, hybrid and remote arrangements are possible where the role allows.
Do you sponsor work permits and help with relocation?
We support candidates through the work permit and residence permit process. We'll also help you settle in once you arrive.
Can I do my thesis with SemiQon?

Do I need to speak Finnish?
No, our working language is English, and we have over 10 nationalities on the team.
Do you offer summer internships, and when should I apply?
Every summer we welcome interns with curiosity and a genuine interest in future-shaping technologies. We typically open and communicate our summer positions during January and February.
