Role overview

As a Senior Semiconductor Hardware Engineer at SemiQon, you will be a crucial part of our mission to redefine the capabilities of quantum computing. You will work closely with our team of experts and collaborate with a diverse team of researchers, engineers, and specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the research and verification of cryogenic CMOS components
• Perform cryogenic measurements and develop measurement algorithms
• Supervise and lead projects

Qualifications

Must have

• Low-noise and cryogenic measurements: You have a solid background in cryogenic and low-noise transport measurements and understand the physics related to those.
• Programming expertise: You understand the principles of object-oriented programming and can utilize and potentially contribute to the pre-existing software environment  
• Semiconductor physics: You have a good understanding of semiconductor physics and engineering.
• English proficiency

Important to have

• Microwave electronics: You have prior experience with (cryogenic) rf-measurements and understand physics related to microwave systems.

Good to have

• Experience from industrial operation

‍

Salary range 4500 – 6500 €/month depending on experience.

*A security clearance vetting may be required for the position.
